  1. Clearly, true leadership comes by way of example, which was Adam and Eve’s original responsibility. As Ye-Jin Nim explains toward the end of the Introduction, “The younger generations must still accomplish the same specific mission: to become the embodiment of His/Her Heart Principle and to serve as examples for all others in humanity to imitate and practice the same, as was the case with the first (1st) generation.” and “…at least we now have the basics of Heavenly Parent’s absolute Heart Principle revealed, which means every human being could at least start making individual/collective endeavors, not only to make no more
unprincipled choices on the individual-level but also to mitigate the indemnity conditions coming from their immediate or external lineages on the collective-level until the complete restoration. This must be done with each person of humanity making some form of continuous endeavor working toward the greater collective good of all, since the providential timing we currently inhabit is comparable to when the entire humanity as “one family” from the first human couple, Adam/Eve, whom He/She alone created, shares the same collective-level fate at the worldwide/cosmic-level.”

Like Dr. Phan, we do anticipate further explication in Part IV about how Ye-Jin Nim, the First Daughter, was able to retrieve The Divine Heart Principle and make the multi-generational extension course possible.

  2. Dr. Phan adds accurate historical context to a relevant but brief summary of the Divine Heart Principle: Part I. However, his concluding paragraph misses profound implications of the text’s heart-principled message. God, our Heavenly Father/Mother multiplies His/Her creative nature by co-creating together with us and the entire cosmos. That involves granting freedom and respecting the freedom of others. It also means that each of us has equal human value. Furthermore, we share individual/collective responsibility. Perfecting ourselves requires heart-principled true love unity of three generations. When we make bad choices that go against Heavenly Parent’s will, we incur indemnity for ourselves and our descendants in order to remedy the mistakes. We lead by example, practicing heart-principled true love, the very purpose for which God created us. In Heavenly Parent’s ideal of heart-principled, true love-multiplication there is no asserting or wresting authority, such as exists in top-down patriarchal societies. Members of the Unification Movement, and every person in the world, are free to heed the message of Divine Heart Principle and seek to practice the Five Roles of the Three Blessings, or not. As much as we are able to do so, we make the world a better place and bring joy to our Heavenly Father/Mother.
