The Second Coming or the Third Try-Second Attempt Worldwide/Cosmic-Level Course: Father and Mother Moon, Their Family, and the Unification Movement

Chapter 8 deals with the “Second Coming”/his bride’s 3T-2A worldwide/cosmic-level course in the twentieth (20^th) century, centering on Father/Mother Moon, their family, and the people of the Movement. First, the chapter leads with a discussion of why, before the commencement of Father/Mother Moon’s course in earnest in 1946, there were two World Wars and that, in Heavenly Parent’s hope, “World War III” should not be a worldwide war of violence and mass murder but one of peaceful, worldwide ideological transition centering on His/Her absolute Heart Principle and inviting Him/Her into humanity’s midst with the complete restoration. This chapter also illustrates what Father/Mother Moon had to achieve to complete the worldwide/cosmic-level course, beginning with the true individual, true family, true clan, true nation, true worldwide foundations, and culminating in the true cosmic-level foundation in successive order, with an allocated time frame for each foundation. Without question, the starting point of Father/Mother Moon’s course was to recover His/Her absolute Ideology or the Heart Principle, without which the proper step-by-step restoration process could not be substantiated for any of the foundations.

Ideally, after the recovery of Heavenly Parent’s Heart Principle, given that at the core of His/Her purpose of creation is the sum value of the whole creation in each human being, the realization of the true individual foundation should have been the re-establishment of man/woman’s equal human value/responsibility that had become unbalanced owing to Adam/Eve’s differing sinful status with Adam’s “single sin” and Eve’s “double sin” on the individual-level, which implicated respective mankind/womankind in dissimilar ways on the collective-level. Furthermore, since the successive central figures after Adam/Eve’s family failed to restore humanity’s equal value/responsibility, the fallen human reality during the restoration history was predominantly characterized by unprincipled patriarchal cultures throughout the Collective Reality. If Father/Mother Moon had been able to restore the true individual foundation of man/woman’s equal human value/responsibility, the next step in the restoration process would have been the creation of the true family foundation of recovering equal human value starting with their very First Child position, as it is not the responsibility of Him/Her but that of the human parents to impart equal human value/responsibility to each of their children, regardless of sex/gender, by way of their ideal examples of human perfection. This was precisely at the core of Adam/Eve’s failure to achieve individual perfection before endeavoring together as true spouses to each other and creating a true family on the collective-level with the creation of ideal true children in humanity to come through them by way of their own heart-principled, true-love exemplary deeds. Had Father/Mother Moon been able to follow their restoration mission properly, the true individual and true family foundations would have served as the fundamental basis for all subsequent foundations of the true clan, true nation, true worldwide, and true cosmic levels, which could have been implemented with equal success.

Regrettably, Father/Mother Moon could not recover the Heart Principle. Instead, they conducted their course based upon their interpretive ideology denoting themselves as the “True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind,” primarily inspired by Christianity’s “messianic” idea of “one person in two natures” or a fully-god/fully-human creature in Christ-figure that the Christian God was supposed to have interrupted the fallen reality to create for human “salvation.” From the vantage point of the Heart Principle, such a messianic idea is unprincipled, as Heavenly Parent’s 95 percent portion of the Creative Process ended with the first man/woman, or Adam/Eve, each representing the sum of the entire creation. He/She does not create any creation higher than human beings, which means there cannot be a semi-divine or fully god/fully human creature between human beings and Him/Her. Likewise, when Father/Mother Moon initiated their course with a variant ideology incompatible with His/Her Heart Principle, they could not deliver the long-awaited complete restoration within the designated time frame of the twentieth (20^th) century.
